SEM-BCS Load from Data Stream of Master Data Hierarchy

Dear BCS Gurus:

I have used the flexible upload to load the Hierarchies of Items and PCs.

Is there a way to load from BI using the 'Load from Data Stream'. I have been trying in the test data basis but coming up with error message.

Let me know the way out....

Hi,

Hierarchies upload is a rather seldom operation. Loading from data stream, by default, means a rather regular operation.

So, what are your preferences, datastream or a flexible upload? What do you want to achieve? If you have some errors, then pronounce them. I'm sure that we couldn't divine them and have to know them in face..

I get the following run time error when loading from the data stream:

'Objects_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED' . Our blue print phase has ended and now working on the 'Realization' phase. I am still using the test box though.

I assigned the InfoObj catalogue of Char and KF which has the PC Hierarchy (0Profit_Ctr). The object is activated. (Do I need to keep this blank for 'data basis' config?)

I have an additional question:

Can we assign the same Info Object Cat for the Char and Kf in both source data basis and data basis?

The flexible upload works fine with excel uploads. But I want to use 'load from data stream' which I think is easier.....
