SSL Connection to Sybase 16

Hello All, I'm having a wierd issue while opening a SSL connection to Sybase 16 Server. The interfaces file entry for the host is as follows.

sybssl

query tcp ether 10.11.12.111 7585 ssl="CN=*.abcd.net"

While connecting to the above, getting back the error message Message String: ct_connect(): network packet layer: internal net library error: Failed to initialize network filter There does not appear to be any guidance on the web as to what this "Failed to initialize network filter" message is for. Can anyone help with this please ? thanks
