Hello Experts,

I am working with IBP demand, using the standard template 'DP 130 local demand plan'. I am done with the steps of gathering data, cleansing data and running the forecast. Now, I wish to create my local demand plan and am trying to edit the values for the key figure 'local demand plan'.

My current period is Jul 2017 but when I try to change the local demand plan figure for July 2017, system does not allow. I checked on fiory launch pad that the key figure 'local demand plan' has the setting 'Editable in the Current or Future' maintained.

I am able to change the figure for future periods like Aug 2017 but not for the current period which is July 2017.

Please see screenshots below.

I checked the planning area's current period offset value also. It is 0, as seen in screenshot below.

My planning area is a copy of the std. planning area SAPIBP1.

Is there some further setting controlling this editability or is this is a bug?

Thanks and regards.

Hi Papri

My personal view. In configuration page, you can see that "local demand plan qty" base time level is bucket. In your excel planning view the time granularity is monthly. In July period, past week (first week of July) is included so that you can not change past value. When you break July into weeks, I believe you can change value in current and futire week, not in current and future month.

Hello Bennett,

I changed my time period to weekly and then tried to change the data for week # 27 of 2017, which is the present week (today's date- 7th July 2017). Irrespective of whether the week starts from Sunday or monday, 7th july 2017 which is a friday, should be considered the current week, I believe.

Even then system is not accepting the change for week # 27.

Of course, I am able to change the data for future weeks, i.e. week # 28, 29, 30 etc. So, that way, I am able to change the data for july 2017 as such which I was unable to do earlier, when the time period was monthly.

Still, as per the key figure property, it should allow the current period , i.e. current week data to be changed.
