Hi Vimal,

In IS retail-system perspective, article will be available at stores only after listing. But physically there can be an exception.Or exception can happen during new store /site live in terms of POS and CAR/ECC integartion.I do not know your landscape so assuming you are in Retail and using some software to manage Till sales.

WPMU creates Basic type WP_PLU02 -->POS interface: material and condition and sends outbound idoc to POS system.

Based on similar experience ,I observed there are some sales or returns transactions received in CAR from POS system, which were missing listing in Store.Hence, POS sales is possible without listing - provided article is available at the stores.

Hi Avik,

Thanks for info on the note. But can you explain this more in detail,as i find it a little difficult to understand what is given in the note.

Hi Vimal,

These are caused by program error in SAP standard software, seems like sorting or clearing issue for non listed articles. The notes contain the correction instructions, your ABAP person can implement them. Then you should not get this scenario re-occurring.

Pls check associated note 1100425 (valid for all support pkg)- Unlisted articles in POS: Addition to Note 928176

Hi Vimal,

The listing status plays not an essential role in POS outbound process.

An example:
Article is not listed anymore, but you have still stocks of it in your stores.
If you change the sales price for this article, then this info should have been transferred to POS, even if the article is not listed.
In such case rather the sales period (WLK2) plays an important role (among others).

I hope this will help,
Andras
