Database file size reduction

Hello,

We have a BW system that recently had a significant amount of data deleted from it.

In ST04 we see the

Total data size as: 296,436 MB

data free space as: 106,944 MB

We want the total data size to be around 200,000 MB if possible. The file size currently can't grow any bigger because there is not disk available to grow onto.

How would we go about making that Total data size smaller, since it is essentially 30% free space that doesn't need to be allocated to the database?

We are running SQL Server 2000

Thanks,

Nick
