C4C for utilitis

Hi,

I am trying to gather the detailed information on the solution capabilities of C4C for utilities industry.I read somewhere that C4C is not designed to replace 100% of SAP CRM capabilities and it only complements SAP CRM with next generation collaborative sales and service tools.

Do we still need the CRM on-premise for implementing C4C for a big scale utility company?

Generally speaking - CRM and C4C are designed for different use cases. It is likely that a utility would implement one or the other depending on their needs and their individual value use cases. A utility considering these choices should schedule a demonstration with the account team to drive the best decision for their requirements.

Yes , C4C is not designed to replace 100% of SAP CRM capabilities and it only complements SAP CRM with next generation collaborative sales and service tools.

SAP enabled the C4C solution to be used as the Sales and Call Center solution running on top of IS-U

Thanks for your time to look into my query

when we say C4C doesn't carry the 100% SAP CRM capabilities, does customer has to buy the licences of both C4C as well the onpremise SAP CRM inorder to implement a end to end fullfledged CRM solution. what is the addtional benefit that C4C brings in for a customer who is already using the SAP CRM particularly for for utlity industry.

Hello Ravi,

Experts from SAP can give you more Detail. But in my opinion if a customer has CRM, C4C supports the Cloud Strategy.

As we know C4C is cloud Software and brings a simple Integration concept with all the benefits of a cloud Software like Hardware, maintenance, upgrade would be taken care by SAP. One big Advantage is C4C is available Online and Offline (without any extra license fee) in any device including Tablet, Mobile etc which would be Handy for the sales and Service colleagues who vistis customer in regular Basis, the informations are available on a click no required to make call to Service Center etc.

So C4C give a great boost to the Cloud Strategy with all the benefits.
