Users unable to save options in WebI Rich Client

We have some users who are unable to save Options in the WebI rich client tool.

When using the application in standalone mode (not logged in) they can edit the options, but as soon as they log in, they cannot change the options. We have created a new user in all the same groups and this user does not have the issue. We have ruled out an issue with the install, as we have tried the two users on the same installation.

If this issue is linked to security, what advanced right is required? both users have ' Web Intelligence - General -edit 'My Preferences'' right granted.

Any advice would be appreciated.

This issue doesn't seem related to security, as I've added this user to the administrator group and the same issue remains

Solution:

Delete all content from your local BO folder:

C:\Users\XXXXXX\Documents\My Business Objects Documents\LocData
(extranet, intranet and lsi files)

When files were recreated, behavior turned to be correct.

This solved the problem for me.

HI David,

My suggestion is go to CMC -> Applications-> Web Intelligence-> right click and select user security. Go to the advanced rights.
Here there are various rights related to Web Intelligence. Check what rights are granted/denied.

Hi Abhilasha, I have added the user into the administrators group which has full control on

CMC -> Applications-> Web Intelligence

I have also removed them from all other groups, yet, still the user is getting the same behaviour.
