Notification details in Maintenance Work Order

I have a requirement here, we have set reported by as mandatory in the notification and the maintenance order is integrated with maintenance order.

1) If the technician is creating a notification, system asks to enter the reported by field and the technician enters and creates a work order. This is totally fine.

2) Actual requirement is, when the technician/ supervisor creates an maintenance order with all the information and if he tries to save the order, system will ask to fill the reported by. In the work order reported by field will be placed in the third tab in the work order and field is not visible until you to the third tab.

Now business wants the system to direct to the reported by field as it is mandatory in work order. I tried many things but i couldnt see any luck.

If you guys have any idea on how to make the system direct to the mandatory field or shift the notification dates from third tab to first tab would be highly appreciated.

Hi Dileep,

Did you try creating a order view profile and assign it to the order type you are using.

Check if you can maintain the notification data tab in the first tab itself.

The config you should try is Maintenance and Service Order ->Functions and Setting for order types -> Basic Order view

Let me know if this worked.
