I want to simulate upgrade from SAP B1 2007A to SAP B1 9.2.
I need:
- package installation of SAP B1 2007A version to install first.
- package update 8.82 SAP B1 VERSION 8.82 to intermediate installation according to:
- package update version SAP B1 9.2
I checked in at https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/softwarecenter/search but I did not find it.
I noticed that in an update we did not use the normal installation package, but an update pack. It used to be that way. Do you confirm that for 9.2 is the same?
Another issue is about the licenses, I think there are licenses only for versions 8.82 and later.
Can you tell me where you can download it? As they are old versions it is difficult to arrange this.
To upgrade you need upgrade package and for license you can request on SAP customer portal to process and download license key.

If you want to upgrade to latest family you dont need installer of 2007. Like current version is 2007 and you want to upgrade to 9.2 follow these steps
1- Install 8.81 on new machine
2- Restore backup of 2007 on New machine with 8.81
3- Upgrade backup of 2007 to 8.81
4- upgrade to 8.82
5- upgrade to 9.0
6- upgrade to 9.1
7- upgrade to 9.2
Just for your information:-
You can directly upgrade from 8.82 to 9.2. Not required intermediate upgrade.
