Deactivating Standard SAP transaction types

Hello All:

Keep thinking I have seen this, but there are a number of asset transaction types that we do not want our users to use. Consequently, our approach is to deactivate them, as opposed to deleting them if possible and make them invisible to the users. So far, I have not found where to do this. Please advise.

Hi,

Technically speaking, you could have modified the content of TABW table.

More conventional way would be creating validation in AA, preventing the usage of certain TTypes.

Hey thanks. Saw the same thing. There is an obsolete indicator on the table... It appears and I am still testing, that can mark transaction types as obsolete and some I can't. The delivered is the category of the ones that I can't unless inserting the database record... I need to test more and even if they are obsolete, what does that do... I will update once I know more...
