I have been looking for a function that can calculate the interest rate but I still dont get it, I ask your help. If someone knew that function please let me know it.

I've just read your question (from 2007). is it still relevant?

did you try to use function D_INTEREST_RATES_SELECT_NEW ? it seems to give the info you need
