Checkout is not possible Error

Hi

I am trying to checkout a file. The system does not let me check it out.

Checkout is not possible. See below for details.

The operation requires the writeability of the following Objects:

Component

======>problem: DTR workspace is not modifiable

I am able to checkout other components but not this one.

Please help me in resloving this.

Hi SL,

Make sure you sync sources / syn used dcs.

get into inactive dc's -> right click on resource you want to edit -> select DTR in the context menu -> click 'edit'.. now it should ask you to assign the activity name.

Edit here is disabled.

I thnk you havent created the local source for that dc. do like below..

1. right click on the DC in teh inactive Dcs tab.

2. click 'create project'

3. Syn all source/used dcs

4. Now try as mentioned in the earlier way..
