Not able to connect via virtual system in cloud connector to the ABAP on premise system

Hello All,

I am trying to expose my On Premise system (whcih is also my gateway system) to WeBIDE. I have installed SAP Cloud connector in my laptop and created a virtual system mapping to the internal host as follows:

When I check the catalog service of the system in the browser, it works:

But when I replace the internal URL with the virtual system URL, it fails:

Can you please let me know what am I missing here?

Hello Sandhya,

You cannot reach your virtual system through the browser directly. Instead, you have to define a destination of ProxyType OnPremise in your SAP Cloud Plattform Cockpit and use this in your Web IDE:
