Dear all,
I trust you are all well.
I asked this question some days' back and I haven't had any response yet so I am re-posting it to see if somebody can be of assistance this time around. Please see the explanation below.
''When we do a quotation for a customer we set it up as an opportunity. If we lose the opportunity for some reason we then enter the reason. Over the past 3 years lots of different reasons have been entered and the list now has about 130 reasons on there.
I would like to clear this list and then define 10 new reasons that everyone uses from now on. However I believe that if I do that all old opportunities that had one of the old reasons selected will be cleared''. Any ideas, please?
Regards,
Armstrong Kwakye
Hi Armstrong
I would do in this way:
1. I would create a list with the 10 new reasons.
2. I would to identify the old reasons with only one in the new list.
3. I would save all info (opportunity id, old reason id, new reason id).
You cannot use DTW because this option is disabled; you can try to import the file and update the data with SDK development.
4. After this, I would delete the old reasons.
Kind regards

Hi Armstrong,
Is the reason given at UDF or in standard SAP B1 field , also the field present at row level or at header level.
