Hi Meharunnisa,

thanks for your interest at aBPM.
First of all I'd like to mention that aBPM is a Solution Extension for SAP BPM provided by SAP Consulting Germany and not a product from SAP SE.

For gathering first information please have a look to the blog series "aBPM Step by Step" - in Part 1 Marco provide among others a short overview about the system prerequisites.
Additionaly remarks with regards to a potential training approach incl. the needed skills are described in the blog "How to learn aBPM" .

And last but not least do not hestistate Katrin Welsch or myself for further informtion about our Solution Extension...
Hope this helps as a start.

Best regards,
M.

Hi Micheal,

We already went through the blogs but their it is asking for some aBPM predefined datatype and also aBPM framework 3.0. But we are unable to find any of the components on this in NWDS BPM. Do we need to add any extra components or do we need to import any .SCA files for this aBPM.

Hi Meharunnisa,

as I mentioned in my fist Reply: aBPM is a consulting solution which is developed and maintained by SAP Consulting in Germany. Therefore it is not a product of SAP SE. That's also the reason why you can't find it in the market place.

The prerequistes for working with aBPM are:

  • a SAP PO installation 7.40 or 7.50 for running your processes
  • a SAP NWDI to support your developmet is highly recommended
  • a local NWDS fitting to your SAP PO (same version and SP Level)
  • either buy an aBPM package (see aBPM-license-packages_07_2017) or sign a test-contract for evaluation purposes (non-productive usage!)

If these are fullfilled we would deliver the SCAs that need to be deployed on the PO server as well as imported into the NWDI track (e.g. there is one just for development). We we'll also deliver a coockbook document that contains the documentation for development and setup of aBPM on PO Server.

Best regards,

Michael

Hi Michael,

I would like to work on Non Productive Environment first before going on to productive environment , So would you please let me know how to sign a test-contract for evaluation purpose. Also we have PO server 7.40 and 7.50 available and also local SAP NWDS available fitting with our SAP PO version.
