Reusability in VC

I am somewhat new to VC and am trying to understand if you can reuse iViews across models.

Is there a way to point to an iView in one model from another? If not, is there a way to pick up parameters passed via the URL?

For example:

Model A: In this model, you look up sales orders. When drilling into the sales order, you see the related purchase order and a link to view it.

Model B: In this model, you look up materials. When drilling into a material, you see a list of all purchase orders containing this material. You need the ability to view the purchase order.

I don't want to create an iView in each of the models to view the purchase order. I would like to create a separate model that only displays the selected purchase order and "link" to it from Model A and B. Is this possible? If not, is is possible to pick up parameters in VC sent via the URL?
