Assignment of MIC's to Equipment Task list via LSMW

Dear Experts,

I am trying to assign MIC's to Equipment task list through change LSMW using recording option. But in recording for Quantitative MIC's i am not able to see fields such as 1st upper limit and 1st Lower limit which are mandatory to my client.

Please suggest me the solution or guide me with correct approach to update MIC's assignment to Equipment task list using LSMW.

    Did you do a new recording?

    I get the values in my recording of QS21. They are under SAPMQSDA 010. They are the fields QFLTP-GRENZ*

    • Interesting. If I edit directly in IA02 I see the fields. But if I do a recording of IA02 in LSMW I don't get the fields. I see what you mean. I can't explain that behavior off hand.

      I'd raise it as an issue with SAP. You might want to search OSS to see if it has been raised before and if there is a fix for it.

    There are several questions concerning your task:

    1. Are you correctly talking about equipment task lists? There is e.g. a BAPI Business Object for inspection plans available in LSMW, an a direct input object as well
    2. You are talking about assignment of MICs to a task list, but then about (recording?) fields of the MIC itself. Do you really only want to assign MICs or also update them?
    3. Have you tried to assign the MICs manually to the equipment task list? Can you see the fields then?

      Hi Martin,

      Yes, We have the list of MIC's already created, but while assigning to tasklist user have different values based on the equipment. so data need to be changed after assignment. Hope this answers you.

    I think there are two parts to your question - 1st parts talks about MIC limits and 2nd part talks about an approach to add MIC to equipment task list. Please correct me in case of my understanding is not correct.

    For the 1st part of MIC upper limit and lower limit not getting picked for update - I think you are working with recording option, and not a BAPI option. If so, then please can you check in the recording, if these two fields are captured, to be updated with business needed values form upload file. Please remember the golden rule - default values of MIC will be overwritten in the task list, if you do it that way.

    For the 2nd part of adding multiple MIC to task list - I think the only way here is to do single MIC recording for one operation, and keep repeating it for all cases of Operation/MIC combination and this approach works well.

    Hi Rupesh,

    The screen 0152(additional pair of limits) is not supported by SAP in the case of a recording transaction call.

    SAP will release an OSS note for a development, only if there are enough customers requiring the same screen to be included.

    The possible alternatives are:

    - develop inhouse LSMW with direct table input for your limits

    - adapt standard PBO module STD_BILDSTEUERUNG of SAPLQPAA (flag G_NO_LRG_SCREEN has to be cleared)

    All options have to be tested thoroughly.
