I am currently experiencing stock incomsistency in the tables MARD and MBEW however this happens randomly sometimes in the beginning, middle or at the end of the month. To get rid of this I log a call at SAP to adjust the quantities each time it happens.I need to understand the reasons why It is happening.I had a
who says that MARD and MBEW have to be consistent?
One table has the stock, the other table the valuated stock.
There can be plenty reasons why a stock portion is not valuated, e.g. a customer return before a 453 movement is executed.
Also a GR blocked stock with movement type 103 does not update any value, this value update comes with 105 movement.
So I would say it is basically a training issue.

Hello,
It is always better to refer MB5B for regular and accurate stock of material, it will show correct stock every time.

Hi Odwa,
There are Numerous reasons which can cause stock inconsistencey. In period closing for material master (MMPV), goods movement are done during the interval between Last Day of the Old Period and First Day of the New Period. Before the period closing program runs, check in transaction SM13 whether outstanding update terminations of goods movement are still displayed. These must be cleared and closed before the period closing program runs.
Pls refer note 204393 – Inconsistencies between stocks of MARD and MBEW

Avik
