Where can i download the CR Oracle Wire Protocol ODBC Driver ?

I'm using Crystal Reports 2013 and am trying to connect to my Oracle server but there is the error ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified. Someone said i need to install the CR Oracle Wire Protocol ODBC Driver. Where can i download it?

All Oracle Client software is on the Oracle CD/DVD or download.

CR is a 32 bit app so install the 32 bit client, configure the Oracle Client and then use ODBC or OLE DB or the Native driver in CR to connect.

If you are asking about the DataDirect ODBC drivers then use the Custom install of CR and select it, it does have the the Wired driver.

Thank you Don! Yes it is a DataDirect ODBC driver. I didn't know that. Now I have installed that driver by modifying my CR installation and it works, just extremely slow. But what I really wanted was to create an "Oracle Server" connection, not through ODBC. Do you know what configuration is required in order to create an Oracle Server connection? My CR is 32 bit, OS is Win8 64bit, Oracle client is 10g 32bit.

You need to configure the Oracle Client then you can use CR's Native Oracle driver.

Refer to the Oracle install guide.
