Hello,

i have installed an Epson TM-88V Printer, folowing the Guidelines from SAP.
When i try to activate the Printer in the Customer Checkout, i get the following Massage:

Das Gerät konnte nicht gestartet werden.: jpos.JposException: Could not create an instance.

What is wrong

please have a look into our SAP Note 2202185 (https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2202185) entry 45, maybe this will help you to solve the issue.

If this not help please open an incident (SBO-INT-CCO)

And add following information:

please check if you are using the same java for the cco and the printer (32bit / 64bit).

Please let us know the version of SAP Customer Checkout and the driver Software of the printer.

Are you able to print from the printer testtool?

Furthermore please provide us the log files of SAP Customer Checkout (can be found in the installation share)
