Hello,

I am currently trying my first ABAP programmer steps in IDES.

Unfortunately I am not getting to the acctual entry mask.

After having typed "SE38" into the command field, having named the programm

selected Attributes and then clicked on Create. I receive an error mssage that reads as follows:

"You are not registered as a developer. Please register in the R/3 Online Service System (OSS). You will receive an access key upon registration."

Can anybody tell me where I can get this access key or onto which site I have to log on to to generate it?

Sorry if the translation is insufficent as I work from the German system.

Willkommen in SDN!!!!!!

With the IDES u will get Developer Key or Access KEY..

or may be u given the program name starts from A - W.

Program muss beginn mit Y oder Z.

If you did it then check your IDES software package for access key. Or call the customer service.

Hi,

Is this IDES system is used in your company, or you installed it on yourself?

If it is in your company then you need to call your Basis consultant and need to ask him for the OSS key and if you installed it on your own then call the SAP support center and ask them for the key.

Which SAP support center do you mean? How can I reach them?

Hello all,

I have the same problem. I have installed the trial version myself on my own computer and the system asks the acsesskey. I 've read the explanations in Documentation, how to get this key throw Front end, but wenn I click the register button I recieve the new logon picture of Development system and not an access key. Can anybody help me?

And pass this access key message to your Basis staff. This is a simple set-up of your SAP account locally. They (or someone in your org) will get an access key for you.
