Greetings,

I wonder if geolocation information of customers (stored in table GEOLOC) are taken into consideration during extraction of business partners from SAP CRM? (With programs CUAN_IC_MASTERDATA_EXTR_FULL and CUAN_IC_MASTERDATA_EXTR_DELT)

Or is there a custom development needed?

Thanks in advance

Hi Hakan,

GEOLOC table is not replicated. Custom development is possible, but not advised, as the extraction is quite complex and an enhancement would not be so easy. Proposal would be to use the OData service instead where you can map your GEOLOC fields to the corresponding fields in SAP Hybris Marketing.

Best regards

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

Thank you for your answer. I thought we would make use of the method IF_CUAN_CE_IC_UPDATE_SP7~IMP_IA_IC_UPDATE_IC_ROOT to update geo location information for the customers with help of a mirrored HANA view.

What do you think?

Yes, that would also be possible. You can enhance the BAdI and read the GEOLOC info for each contact from you mirrored HANA view. This works best if the contacts have not been replicated yet as the BAdI is invoked when creating the contacts. Otherwise, you would have to trigger dummy updates for the affected contacts to have the BAdI called.

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for the reply. Of course, the interaction contacts should be either just created or just updated, otherwise the BAdI wouldn't get called.
