Roadmap Entry Screen

Hi ALL,

I have defined a roadmap in T-RMDEF and created roadmap structure in T-RMAUTH with nodes and sub nodes. After completing the structure, I saved the roadmap and also assigned work packages in Roadmap Authoring Environment.

I assigned the roadmap to a project. But, the roadmap entry screen appears blank and nothing is shown up in T-RMMAIN.

Can any one help or suggest?

Thanks,

Vom

Dear Vom,

In RMAUTH could you able to see the entries?

If not apply the following SAP note:

SAPKITL419 in SAP note:987320..Your Solution manager version should be 4.0

Hi Senthil, Saravanan & Giridhar

Thanks for your response. I changed the filter settings to 'Inactive' for Subject Areas, Roles and Flavors and I am now able to see all the phases in both RMAUTH & RMMAIN and also I am able to access all the activities under each phase which takes me to the structure of the roadmap in RMMAIN.

I have the same problem in another SolMan system where I created a roadmap. Here, I am able to see all the phases in RMAUTH and RMMAIN. But, when I click on any activity in RMMAIN for any phase, it is taking me to the structure of the roadmap in RMMAIN. I am surprised to see that the roadmap structure on the left side is empty. I don't see any folder in the roadmap structure area. I maintained the same settings as I did for the above roadmap.

What could be the reason?

Thanks for your answers for I could solve the issue for one roadmap.

Appreciate your suggestions.....

Thanks,

Vom

Hi Vom,

In RMAUTU, check the flavours, subject areas & roles what u assigned in each node.

Let us assume one scenario:

First node 1: Project preparation phase. For this node you assigned flavours A,B &C (Let us assume)

Under node 1, u created sub node 1.1--Define scope document with flavours B & C. And under node 1.1, u created sub task 1.1.1 as sign off for scope document with flavour only C.

Assume this is your entire roadmap.

Here system by default shows you only node 1.1.1 with the AND logic operation means " Show the only node which is common in entire roadmap".

In our example, Only Flavour "C" is common in all nodes.

In order to avoid this, keep the flavours, subject roles & roles are same in all nodes.

Then check your ST level updated to SAPKITl419.

try out this

Hi Vom,

Check for the Filter settings at Settings - > Filter on rmmain screen.

Dear Vomkar,

In rmauth what is the flavor you assigned to the nodes in the roadmap structure.

I think you didnot assign any flavor to the nodes in your roadmap structure.

for example in rmauth if you assigned R/3 Flavor to the nodes. then when you are going to select this roadmap in a project then you should select R/3 flavor. other wise suppose you are selecting any other flavor then you wont get any thing in Rmmain.

So the flavor you assign to the nodes in rmauth and the flavor you select while including the road map in a project should be same..

I hope this will solve your problem...

revert for clarifications

warm regards
