Generate Source List - No mesage record could be found ....

Hello,

I am generating source lists for OA's and get the following message when I go to save them:

"No message record could be found for output of message. Save anyway?"

Is anyone familiar with this and what it means and/or does if I do or don't save them.

Regards,

Judi

    Hi!

I just happen to be looking at www.admin.monash.edu! To my surprise I saw the following question! It is interesting since I am not trying to print anything.

Q: I have been trying to save my purchase order, but I get the message "No message record could be found for the output of message - save anyway? After the purchase order is saved, the order can be released and everything appears OK, but when I try to do a print preview it says "no suitable purchasing documents found"

A: This error is generated when you do not have a default printer established in you user defaults screen, so SAP does not know where to print the order. Instructions for setting up the SAP default printer can be found on the web site at Printer Setup
