I am configuring ESS in ECC 5.0 (ERP 2004).
For our Europe configuration, we have hidden the main Overview Screen
that appears once you log into ESS. We would like to hide th "Go to
Employee Self-Service" link which appears on the screen after you save
Personal Data on the Personal Information Workset. This link takes the user back to the hidden overview screen, therefore we would like to remove the link.
Steps for the Reconstruction
1. Log into ESS
2. Click on the Personal Data link on the Personal Information workset
3. Click on the "Edit" button to make changes to your personal data
4. Make necessary changes
5. Click on the "Review" button
6. Click on the "Save" button
7. The link to hide appears under the "What do you want to do next"
section.
We need to hide the "Go to Employee Self-Service Homepage" link, which
takes us to the hidden Overview workset.
Please assist if possible.
Thank you!
Hello Gao Damas,
This can be done by following the steps mentioned below:
1) In NWDS > Select/open .... the WD component : essper~sap.com
2) From here ... + WD component > VcPersInfoConfirmationNavi > Views and then select the view: ConfirmationNaviView
3) Double click on ConfirmationNaviView and the layout of this view will opens.
4) From the Layout you can select the "Go to Employee Self-Service Homepage" link and DELETE
5) Save the changes, build and deploy the project again .
Asper my knowlledge, this is the only way to this.
reward points if this info is useful.
