Hi Guys,
Just wanted to throw a Question to all of you !!
I am aware till SRM 4.0, SAP did not provide reversal (delete) of Service Entry Sheets. However, we are skeptical that may be in SRM 5.0, this functionality is provided.
Can somebody confirm if this functionality is still not available in SRM 5.0.
Any relevant document that points to verifying this or do you have any document or reliable source that points to showing that the SES reversal are available in SRM 5.0?
Just wanted to confirm if it is available or not? And if not if anybody knows why, that would be great !!
Thanks,
Sundeep

Guys,
Thanks for the confirmation !! Can you guys also confirm what Support pack you are on? Also this info that you are sharing, has any one of you confirmed it with SAP too?? Just Wondering?
Kapil: Thanks for your reply, we are on Classic Scenario !!
I have assigned both of you points, waiting on my last question !!
Yann,
Thanks !! In SP6 you can actually do the reversal of service entry sheets. It works in certain scenarios and doesnt work in some. but in SP7 it will not work at all as the delete button will be deactivated because of OSS note 985179.
So what i really wanted to hear is, has SAP confirmed what is exactky intended to be offered. I am confused as in SP6 reversal works in some cases and with SP7 they grey out the delete button completely.

Hi Guru,
We are using SP 10 ( SRM 5.0). We are not able to delete the confirmation for the service entry sheet. We applied OSS notes 1080634 & 1123285 to enable the delete option in the confirmation. Now we are able to delete the confirmation. Result reversal confirmation document is created. But no effect the back end that Service entry sheet is not deleted in the back end.
Is it possible to delete the service entry sheet from SRM 5.0?
Kindly help on this to solve this issues
Hi Sundeep,
I checked in SRM 5.0 service entry sheet cannot be deleted in SRM.
However if you are using extended classic scenario and creating service entry sheet in the backend then it can be deleted unless it is not accepted completely. The moment it is accepted and confirmed, it cannot be deleted. This is the standard functionality provided by SAP.
But for the solution point of view what i believe is-
See system has provided you the flexibility of creating your service entry sheet and change or delete before accepting it completely. And functionally also it is correct..once the entry sheet is confirmed that means you are approving it to be released for further processing. So it should not be reversed. So what I mean to say is - user can always create service entry sheet in the backend and then it can be confirmed finally.

Hi
Please go through this ->
By changing or deleting a confirmation, SRM cancels an existing approval.
Confirmations can only be deleted at certain stages in the business process. Delete
-> Is only an option when both the document status and user role (for example, the standard user may delete confirmations for his own purchase orders) allow it
-> Resets the item quantities to the quantity in the original purchase order
-> Also removes all related workflow items
In the case of a backend purchase order, deletion causes cancellation of the related goods receipt (this is not the case for services). For more details, refer this link ->
