Hi all,

If a request transport from development to acceptance, but it fails after UAT.

I want to rollback, the correct procedure is?

Step1: change it back in the development

Step2: transport to acceptance

Step3: delete the first and second transport request ID in production.

Is it correct? thanks.

Pretty much the right process. Except step 3 should really be - ensure neither transport goes to production. How that happens depends on your process.

In a number of places I've worked, for testing purposes a transport of copies is created from working transport request, which remains unreleased. The ToC is sent to the test instance. Any fixes are made against the original transport, and the changes sent to the test instance, in a new ToC. Only when testing is finished is the original transport released and sent to production. Note, with this process, no ToCs are ever imported into production.
