Resource scheduler not working properly

Hi Everyone,

We are implementing Field Service for one of our client's, and one of the functionalities that we have in our scope is Resource scheduler. The issue that we are facing is that the resource scheduler is not working according to what is mentioned in the help documents provided by SAP. The standard Resource scheduler should have the following :

>Longer demands, which does not completely fit into the day to be dropped will end at 5pm (As the Timing are mentioned for a service technician from 8AM till 5PM). The remaining time is shown in the demand section.

>Also the demands are displayed in different color codes. The resource scheduler that we currently have in the system does not have any of the above mentioned functionalities. We tried to configure the color coding etc under Fine tuning >Demand processing, but it did not change anything for us. Also the Gantt chart gets displayed in Black and Grey instead of white.The demands are getting displayed on the left hand side of the Gantt chart. The remaining time for the demand does not get displayed anywhere. The entire Layout looks different from what is mentioned in the document. Can you please suggest how the look and feel of the Resource scheduler can be customized. Also how the above functionalities can customized according to the requirement.

Hi Ali,

First you have to check a scoping question for Demand Fullfilling :

Business Configuration --> Implementation Project --> Edit Project Scope --> Questions -- > General Business Data -->

Resource Scheduler --> Check Scoping Question : " Do you want the system to create assignments automatically till a demand is fulfilled? ".

For Color, in the Demand Processing you define different color code and then assign it to the different status code in :
