Dear All,
How to run the depreciation through the batch input session. Already depreciation is run even register also updated but the General ledger is not updated. wheni m running depreciation system is showing the error message Document type AF is only defined for batch input
Thanks&Regards
Laxmi
You need to change definition of document type AF. Use tcode OBA7 and remove the tick mark for batch input only.
After doing this restart the depreciation run in code AFAB.

Hi,
I guess you have recently upgraded your SAP version.
From 4.7 Trx AFAB uses the programm RAPOST2000 which posts online.
Pre 4.7 Trx AFAB used the programm RABUCH00 - posts with Batch
I would suggest changing the settings for Document Type AF so that it posts online. If on the other hand you wish to continue with Batch processing of the depreciation, then you will have to call the programm via SA38 / SE38
Kind regards

Hello there,
I am in the process of testing depreciation run in Sandbox (SAR R/3 4.7).
I've got the following error message:
-
Text
Not all the documents in the last posting run were posted.
-
Diagnosis
The posting session created in the last posting run was not completely processed.
A new posting is only possible once the posting session has been processed completely
-
How can I delete the posting session for the last posting run?
I don't see anything in the Batch Input Session Overview (Tran: SM35)
Can you give some advice?
Thanks.
Kyu-Chang
so try to run bdc session in background
( for testing purposes, to fix other errors, change document type of AF with tcode OBA7 and clear checkbox V_T003-XSYBL)
