Basava Srinivas
Hello,
Manufacturing environment in which complex production activities under essentially one-off conditions are undertaken for a specific customer. The production structures are managed using a work breakdown structure (WBS). At this level, the following planning steps for the project are carried out: Budget Management, Revenue Planning, Finance Planning, and Cost Planning.
The production processes are managed using a network. The dates, resources, and associated costs are planned at this level.
Hope this helps!

Basava,
Every product on an Engineer to order situation is likely to be unique, and generally the demand comes from WBS/Network/Activity of a Project.

Hi,
Engineer to order scenario is quite similar to Make to order scenario, only diff. is that in MTO . prod.order is created with respect to sales order,
In engineer to order scenario production order is created with respect to WBS element, In WBS element there are network & actvities, One WBS cancontain more than one material.
After confirmation of production order this stock is stored as Special Stock for the Specific WBS element.

Hi BS Rao
as Mr Ranga explained, it is similar to Make to order scenario, but the only difference is that you mostly will create a separate set of master records like Material master, BOM and routings exclusively everytime for a new product as it starts right from engineering drawings to shop floor execution, unlike in MTO scenario where there might not no need to create new master data as the parts can be used again and also im MRP 4 you need to include Individual/ collective reqmnts indicator =1 to trigger requirements during MRP run exclusively for the new product
hope it helps

Hi
I think you mean Make to order.
This is used for the material which will have sales order over the period in the early stage itself .
The requirements will be created against the sales order in MRP.
You have to use strategy 20 in MRP3 view.
Also strategy 50,60 can be used.
