Restore Database

Hi All,

Can someone please help me urgently.

Our customer is currently running SAP Business One 2005A SP01 PL19.

He would like to migrate to a different server machine.

Following steps are being followed by us to migrate him to a new server machine:

1. Backup the database from the current server machine

2. Create a new company on the new server machine with the same company name and DB name as it existed on the old server.

3. Restore the Database (from enterprise manager) from the old server machine on the new Company DB (on the new server machine).

Even though the restore is successful, however when we update any screen in SAP Business One, the status bar display a message "operation successfull", however when we re-open the screen we notice that the changes are not saved.

It seems that the database is locked or it is in read-only mode which is not allowing any updates.

CAN SOME PLEASE HELP URGENTLY.
