Dear All,
We are currently facing the following issue, for making product A (1 EA),i need B(0.5KG)..so for making 400 EA of A,i need 200 KG. Sometimes the stock will be 100 kg only. So they can manufacture maximum 200 EA. Lets say production order quantity for A is 1000, but currently they have only 100kg in stock, so they issue the entire 100 kg from stock through MIGO against order. And they confirm for 1000 in CO11N (Automatic goods receipt) it is accepting it and stock produced. I need here some restriction, that they can manufacture only the proportionate quantity as mentioned in BOM, so maximum 200 EA. How to achieve it?
Thanks in advance..
Hi Jeffery,
It is not possible to determine the GR quantity of production based on consumption of RM.
You have to do some enhancement in CO11n for achieving this solution.

Hi
Also try in Confirmation Parameters ->Generally valid settings
try to set Under delivery and over delivery tolerance

Hi Jeffery
You can stop release of production order considering the available stock. Then you modify the order quantity according to the available stock of component.
Whether this approach will helpful for your business?

Hello Dheeraj,
Thanks for your reply. But as you said,i've already maintained those settings, but still it allows to be confirmed in CO11N. I am able to confirm the entire production order quantity say 1000 EA in CO11N by issuing just even 1kg of goods in MIGO. It is not throwing any error. Is there any other thing which i need to maintain?
And one more information, those materials are not backflushed, thats why they are issued through MIGO.

Hi Jeffery,
Pl try settings in Confirmation Parameters -> Individual Entry General tab -> Error Handling/Logs -> Goods Movement Terminate for Incorrect Goods Movement.
This works for Backflush (Automatic Goods Issue).
