IDOC adapter monitor

Hi SAP Nw XI gurus...

<b>How to monitor IDOC adapter in XI?</b> this IDOC adapter resides on IE has i knew...To monitor adapter's like file,jdbc..we have <u>Http://hostname:<port>/AdapterFramework...</u>

here we will monitor the adapters...I am using service pack 9....So please help me..

Hi Kumar,

you could use transaction code IDX5 for monitoring the idoc adapter.

IDX5 that is the transaction for IDoc monitoring.

Note that the IDoc adapter resides on the ABAP stack !!!

Additional info:

SM58 in the XI system and SM58, We02 in the R/3 system also helps in idoc monitoring.

For end-to-end monitoring try - http://<host>:<port>/MessagingSystem/monitor/monitor.jsp

Can you send me the detail configuration steps for SAP R/3 to XI..

It will be helpful for me.. I am planning for MATMAS05..

Sent/Receive IDOC:

you need to do the following:

In XI

SM59 - R3 connection pointing to R3

IDX1 - define the port with the above dest.

In R3

SM59 - R3 connection pointing to XI

WE21 - define the port with the above dest.

WE20 - Partner profile type outbound/Inbound

To access any Database from XI, you will have to install the corresponding Driver on your XI server.

Thanks for your reply.. Already i deployed the drivers for my MS SQL 2000... and now i am looking for ..<b>HOw to update multiple records in JDBC</b>..If you have any idea please share with me...
