hello all....

i'm at the stage of downloading NW2004s for Linux..

in the downloads page it said the NW2004s includes.....

"It includes SAP NetWeaver2004s ABAP and J2EE 7.0 Application Server, SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (Windows Version), Web Dynpro ABAP and Java, SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe."

Now my doubt is.....do we get EP also in this download......

and what abt NWDS for Linux....

do we get that???

Regards,

Sudheer

Hi,

The EP is included at the NW04s installation, you don't need any additional CD.

The NWDS software isn't included. I get it from Sap's NW software package (don't know if you can download it).

Best Regards,

JC Llanes.

Hi Jose, Sudheer

If you are interested, you can order a NW04 Testdrive DVD at a reasonable price (-: it's for free) on www.sap.com/shop Knwoledge shop: General > SAP NetWeaver > SAP Web Application Server SAP NW2004s Testdrive MaxDB (DL9). It includes a Codeweaver version that I have tried more or less successfully with NW04 NWDS. Not completely stable but more or less usable, at least with NW04 DS. Documentation is available on the DVD as well.

I am happy about feedback

Dear Sudheer,

the NWDS is not available for Linux as it uses plugins which are only available for MS Windows. Nevertheless, using Crossover Office gives you the ability to run the Windows version of NWDS on Linux.

Thanks,

Hannes
