Hi All,
I am facing an error from importing files by using DTW. I have search in the SAP Notes 865191 - Data Transfer Workbench (DTW) Troubleshooting Guide. The recommendation of the notes is to reinstall .NetFrameWork. Also i have try to uninstall DTW and DIAPI, it doesnt help.
For my case i have already try to uninstall the .netframework from client server, it not able to solve this issue. Also this method will create extra issue on SAP client, its very risky for me to proceed with this recommendation.
Does anyone have any idea on solving this issue without uninstall the .netframework?
Hi,
In addition to the answer above:
You can download the Primary Interop Assemblies (PIA) from the following link:
Primary Interop Assemblies Redistributable

Hi Ankit and Nagarajan,
My client is using Server 2012, we cannot reinstall the .Net Frame Work and Primary Interop Assemblies directly from the software. In Server 2012 we will not able to find .netframework in control panel because the structure of Window Server are different with normal Window.
I have tried to reinstall the .netframework in Server Manager, however it create extra issue for me, which my user are no longer able to use remote etc.
So i am thinking if there's other solution to solve this issue without reinstall the .netframework?
Thanks.

Yiu Chern
Hi Yiu,
You should have installed Primary Interop Assemblies (PIA) only and I cannot relate how users are not able to remote access the system just because of .Net Framework.
