Hi, All,
I got the following error when I try to install Web Application Server 6.40 on my laptop using the CD that comes with the Book 'Java Programming with the SAP Web Application Server'.
The installation failed on the 3rd step 'SAP System Installation'.
I logged on my laptop as my own userid, but I should have the administrator's rights.
ERROR 2007-05-15 15:43:10
FSL-00001 System call failed. Error 2 (The system cannot find the file specified.
) in execution of system call 'LoadUserProfile' with parameter (thread token for IT-899\j2eadm, j2eadm), line (616) in file (synxccuren.cpp).
Do you have any ideas what it means?
I'm wondering if it has something to do with the password that I came up with the user 'j2eadm' initially. When I installed initially, I was asked to come up with a password for the user 'j2eadm', and I typed in my own password 'gq031996' instead of 'j2eadm'. Now the password seems to be set and can't be changed any more.

Hi,
Best way is to reset the installation since it is in 3rd step only. Start the installationa and click on Reset. Then close the installation screen. Then delete the usr folder from drive for instllation and sapinst_dir folder from C:\Program Files
Then restart the system and start a fresh installation. Before starting instllation, make sure u delete j2eadm and SAPServiceJ2E users. They will be automatically created with admin password itself u specify.
