SAP BODS with Hadoop

HI Team,

I would like to pull data from HIVE Tables through SAP BODS and wanted to install softwares in windows platform.From the SAP BODS guide , I could see BODS supports HDP-2.2.6 version only, is it true? or any lower or latest version also supports ?Please suggest
