Business Objects Admin Password

Team,

Can we change the Business Objects Admin password that was setup during the installation of BO 4.1 SP05. Will there be any consequences or should we change in multiple locations as this password was set during the installation.

Hi All,

You can change the Default Enterprise Administrator's password.

You need to login to CMC with any user who is a part of Administrator group. On the right hand side top click on the 'Preferences' where you can able to change the password of Enterprise Administrator user.

Even if you forget the password of Administrator user, you can reset it, there are two options to do that:-

1) If you have any user who is a part of Enterprise Administrator group, you can able to change the password from CMC>> Preferences.

2) You can refer Knowledge Base Artical for how to reset Enterprise Administrator password. ( I am not able to recall the KBA number)

Please let me know in case of anything.

you can change the administration password.i nerver seen any issue if you change the password until you remember the new password.

But, I do have my Admin Password with me that I know. I wanted to know if I can go ahead and directly change my Admin Password in CMC Console or should i change in other places too ( which I don't no at this time) ?
