Creating a custom UI command

Hi All,

I need to create a custom KM <b>More Link</b> command that accepts a URL as a configuration parameter. On clicking the more link it should do a navigation to the new page. How can i develop this? I'm new to KM development so I need the steps to create as well. I have gone through this KM <a href="https://media.sdn.sap.com/html/submitted_docs/nw_kmc/howto/km/flexui/Flexible%20UI%20Components.html#_Toc88990476">documentation</a> but couldnt get a clear idea. Does anyone have a sample code?

Hi Pooja,

I need to create custom class for the StatemanagementGroup, can you tell me how can i create the class for command groups.

Here is the SAP standard class and i need to modify/create this class for our requirements.

com.sapportals.wcm.rendering.uicommand.cm.UIStatemanagementGroupCommand

I'm looking for custom UI command development. The document deals with Webdynpro development. Can anyone provide a sample code for the above? I have seen the code for Preview command. Does it work in the same way? If so what additional changes do I have to make?

Hi,

Navigate to System Admin->System Config->KM->Content management->User Interface->Commands->UI Commands->New -> Create ur own UI Commend.
