Extra index for table BSIS in ECC6.0! Please help!

Hello All:

We just upgraded to ECC6.0 and just ran into an issue with BSIS. In old version (4.6C) it has 2 indexes but in new version (ECC6.0) it is showing an extra index with last change date as of today (05/14/07)! No one had made any changes and the user for this changes is "SAP"!! When I looked index table "DD12V" for BSIS, the value is "E" for column "DBINCLEXCL"!

The value 'E' means a list of exclusions. The index is created on all the DBMS with the exception of those specified in the list.

I am running transaction "FBL3N" and it taking for ever in new version but takes only a few seconds in old version. Data is same in old and new versions. Could anyone please help me with this?

Thanks.

Mithun.

i am also working in ECC6.0 , this issue is because of the selection parameter's .

even if you want g/l accounts to be displayed , go by posting date or by some of the g/l's or bby company code .

it was not because of the index , also enhancement in the program level for other issue .

Hi Mithun Dha,

I have the same behaviour in my System. The scenario is Upgrade from 4,6c to ECC 6.0 and my tables are MSEG and AUFM. These tables with indexes.

The Basis are Running a Updating Statistics for a Single Table, with Tx DB20 In this moment, the process are running and i am waiting the result.

A question: What are your version of data base ?? I´m using Oracle 10G.

look the detail information in this link:

If someone have more information, please help us to solve our problem.

Note 904163 does not specifically apply to this situation. But it suggests refreshing the statistics using DB20. This would probably be worth doing in any event.

Hi Mithun,

i have doubts that performance issues are related to index. But with ECC6.0 you can use the new General ledger - that uses tables like FAGLFLEX....and others. This helps integrating CO with FI much better. I don't know if the new tables are used if new general ledger is not active. But anyway except from all standard BSEG records many more data are stored for FAGLFLEX.
