SCRIPT_FUNCTION in ANALYSIS_ITEM

19 Views

All,

using the "behavior" section of a analysis web item I would like to call a customer JavaScript function.

Within the "activation action" the option "SINGLE_WITH_COMMAND" is selected.

Now a function can be chosen from the command wizard. But as I would like to call a function defined within the script item I tried the following:

<bi:ANALYSIS_ITEM name="ANALYSIS_ITEM_2" designwidth="400" designheight="200" >
<bi:DATA_PROVIDER_REF value="DP_1" />
<bi:LINKED_DATA_PROVIDER_REF_LIST type="ORDEREDLIST" />
<bi:SELECT_ROWS type="CHOICE" value="SINGLE_WITH_COMMAND" >
<bi:SINGLE_WITH_COMMAND type="COMPOSITE" >
<bi:ACTIVATION_ACTION type="CHOICE" value="INSTRUCTION" >
<bi:INSTRUCTION >
<bi:SCRIPT_FUNCTION value="executeJS_OnNavigation" />
</bi:INSTRUCTION>
</bi:ACTIVATION_ACTION>
</bi:SINGLE_WITH_COMMAND>
</bi:SELECT_ROWS>
</bi:ANALYSIS_ITEM>

The error that I receive is

"Item item:ANALYSIS_ITEM:ANALYSIS_ITEM_2 of type ANALYSIS_ITEM cannot be parent of SCRIPT_FUNCTION"

Is it possible to execute a customer JS function when selecting a line within a analysis item?

Thanx for your help
