dataset not connected in AIX operating system in EHP 8.0

Dear All,

We just migrate our SAP system from windows to AIX OS, we developed a upload program to upload files in application server using DATASET and then posted in SAP system. In windows system is working fine but in AIX system its showing error, 'could not open dataset:'. Basis team configure location in AIX server, but it won't reflect in AL11 transaction. please help.

1) we can access location only if its available in AL11 ?

2) Is we need to change some code to access dataset in AIX OS?

Please help its very urgent issue.

1) No. You can access any file accessible from the OS. By the way, you can add your own path in AL11 via one of the buttons (if you have the SAP authorizations to do so).

2) No. It can work for any OS.

It's probably a missing authorization at OS level for accessing the Unix directory. You may see yourself the authorizations which are defined, if you can add the directory via AL11.
