User Mapping Porblem

Hi all

I have a role called ROLE A, and I have assiged a user named USER A to this role. I have to do a user mapping for USER A.

I am on EP7.

In the Identity Management, I searched for USER A, went to the User Mapping for System Access tab, but it does not show me the dropdown list from which I have to select the System for mapping. When I added an 'Administrator' group to USER A's group, I was able to see the systems defined.

I dont want USER A to have admin privileges.

How do I map this user to the backend system without assigning him to the Admin group?

Thanks

Manoj

Hi Manoj,

Goto your system which you have created, in the Property Category Dropdown goto "User Management" , in the User Mapping Type select "admin, user" from the dropdown.

Then the system will be visible for you surely.

Thanks,

Vijay

Hi Vijaya

It was already "admin, user". I had to add the role ROLE A to the permissions, and I selected 'end user' for that, and I was able to see the systems.

But thanks for guiding me to the System Object.

Regards,

Manoj

Hi manoj

the problem is while creating the system object .The userMapping Type must be adminuser. Then only you can assign the role.Go to the system you created edit it change its property Usermapping Type as adminuser. So that user or administrator hava the permission to perform user mapping.
