Hi Guys
I saved some objects(Structures and tables) in some transport request for test purpose . Now I deleted the object from data dictionary and trying to delete from se10 (Transport Organizer) . It is not getting deleted and gives an status message "Object entry exists more than once. Sort and compress first
" and also it also two times tranport task for the same object . below i have copied the transport request and task (See how it appears , it is appearing two times). i am trying to delete HRI9004(structure) ,HRP9004(table) P9004 (structure). I will appriciate if any body can give me some idea to delete it or else how i can combine these transport in another transport request which i am using for development purpose.

Hi,
Goto SE10 --> Request/Task (in Menu) --> Object List --> Sort and Compress.
This will remove the duplicate entries from ur transport request.

Himanshu

Rocky ,
I am a beginner and have a similar problem .
I have created 4 objects of which 3 are in a task that has already been released.
Now in the Objects List of request again all these objects are present with duplicate entries .
should i delete all the entries from this object list except the one which was not in the task or only the duplicate ones?
will sort and compress cause any problem since the task has already been released ?
Please see the image below and guide me.
Thanks,
unnati

Himanshu , Please guide me
1.) I wanted to know why are the same objects present in the task and outside it also.
2.) I cannot see the function module I created . Is it because it is present in the function group ?
This is how it looks after compressing

Hi,
You can safely do a sort and compress. It won't hurt anything.
Function modules don't always appear in a transport request.
cheers
