warranty check?

hello,

We hv maintained Master warranty(BGM1),with Material/service,with counters with value 3 years(CT04 ),Counter is assign to class of class type 039.

Where are the start date of warranty for the material is maintained & How to check whether the warranty object (in our case materual of asset material type)still has a valid warranty or not at any point of time?

Aany help on this issue.

You will not be able to assign warranty to a material. You will have to assign it to an equipment ( which is one occurance / serialized occurance of a material ).
