Workitem not generated

Hi Guys,

The first step in my worklflow is an activity for which a task and work item test is defined.

The problem is the task is for background processing, hence it is not generating any workitem in in the system.

i have checked the event linkages, event trace, event is getting called and the tasks are all released.

Just the workitem is not generated.

Kindly help!

I tested the task as well, it is generating a workitem which i can check in SWI1.

I created the task as a dialog step the WI was created, then i changed the task to background processing The work item was not created.

So i deleted the first step and created a new step and assigned a new task with background processing to that.

Kindly help!!
