SAP HANA Tools - SQL Console

Hi Experts

I recently and reluctantly ran a 'Check for Updates' on my Eclipse Mars installation to update HANA Development tools from

https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/mars/

They have been successfully updated or at least that is what I thought.

After update SQL Console's Result Tab does not show up after executing SQL statemets:

All I got is an 'OK' message:

Has anyone out there faced this problem?

I am afraid that the URL you mention above is not correct for the SAP Development Tools for Mars. Instead it is https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/mars.

Thanks for noticing this typo, Frank.

I have checked, in Eclipse the Software Site URL was Ok. It was a copy/paste/typo when I posted my question.

So, I haven't resolved the issue yet.

Hello Carlos,

I just updated my Eclipse Mars to the exact same version of the SAP Development Tools (2.3.24) and the SQL Console works just fine as before.

I believe you have tried to Log Off your HANA instance, restart Eclipse, Log On and try again?

What Java version are you running?

Yes I did log off from HANA, restarted Eclipse, even restarted my computer. No luck.

I am using Java 1.7

Hello Carlos,

I am using 1.8.0_131. It might therefore be an option to upgrade to Java 8. Alternatively, you could upgrade to Eclipse Neon or install the SAP HANA Studio in parallel to Eclipse. I always do the latter because some things work better in the one or the other so I use them alternatively.
