Creating FixPegQty in APO after creating pln indep req(APO) & PR(in R3)

We have a interface requirement for creating FixPegQty. Interface file will be loaded thr' R3.

Scenario:

1. Upload interface date(R3)

2. creating planned independent requirement(in APO) by calling APO FM

3. Creating PR in R3

4. Need to create Fix Pegging relation with FixPegQty(pln ind req qty)

I need clarification in step4.

Is there any FM for creating Fix Pegging relationship by passing Planned indep req and PR?

Any one used the BAPI BAPI_PPDSSRVAPS_CHANPEGMULTI for creating pegging relationship.

Hi Vijay,

Here the requirement is manual process.

For these prod there will not be any planning run in APO. They are using some external system and need to be interfaced.

So the interface data comes to R3(Planned Indepd requirement),

need to check basic validation in R3 and then create planned ind requirement in APO. For that requirement qty, they are creating PR in R3(no planning run) manually. After creating PR in R3, they wanted to create pegging relationship manually.

This is some kind of special case.

So my question is how to create pegging relationship in APO using above order and receipt.

Yes,

1. Creating independent requirement in APO and

2 creating PR in R3(transferred to APO via CIF).

and then need to create fixed pegging relation between step1 and step2

What I understood is , Demand is created in APO and trandferred to R3

PLanning run in R3 - PR's creation and transfer to APO

I never come across such a situation. But try this

In Product view, make sure that the demand and the PR's are visible

Execute fixed pegging heuristic in planning run if u want the system to auto fix peg between the demand and the PR's and then execute Firming heuristic to fix the pegging

Or in the product view itself, select the PR and go to pegging view and fix peg it for each PR. and then tick the fix indicator against the PR

I'm not sure whether this is what you are looking for

Is there any other way(customizing) to create pegging relationship with FixPegQty?
