Suddenly out of a blue, my XI services stops and then starts on its own. As soon as it is started, it stops again and this cycle keeps repeating. Everytime, the service starts my communication channels are activated and if there is a file to be picked up , XI message is triggered. Unfortunately before the message is processed, XI services becomes unavailable again.
This cycle repeated for close to 10 hours and then bingo everything started working fine. I am not able to figure out if this is a resource issue or what? Further this has happened twice . Any ideas?
Seems like license issues.
Make sure you have proper licenses installed in your XI Box.
You can check license status in link http://<hostname>:<port>/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo.
Check the "Licenses" part, specifically the "Days Until Expiry" field.
