Documentation notes the minimum release level for Smart Data Access to DB2 being for version 10.1; we have a 9.7 database and there are IBM ODBC drivers available for that version. Has anyone run/tested this version with HANA. That server is at Platform 2, SPS01 level.
Much Thanks,
Donn
Thanks, Ronald. The DB2 in question is configured with a charset of UTF8 so the Unicode set should not be a problem.
We have seen some performance issues running SDA to other HANAe and Oracle databases (all read-only mode)..

We are running DB2 V9.7 FP 11 but are facing performance issues. Tracing that points to SDA (and not to network latency, source system performance). Also BW does not seem to like creating a datasource on a virtual table on a non Unicode sytem. The driver dumps on RAWSTRING fields (Unicode sources dont have the issue).
Anyone else facing issues?
